To start using Tabology's EPOS you will first need to download the BarTab EPOS app from the App Store and then sign in with the details you recieved when you started your free trial.
On your iPad, open the App Store and search BarTab EPOS then press the download icon to download the BarTab EPOS app.
Note: If you don't have an Apple ID select "Create New Apple ID" when prompted to sign in.
Launch the BarTab EPOS app and enter your site ID and access token that you received these when you started your trial.
Note: You only need to enter these when setting up a new iPad, or after deleting and reinstalling the app on an iPad.
If you don't have a site ID and access token contact one our team.
After entering your site ID and access token, you will see a list of EPOS devices that are already configured on your server. Select one of these to set the iPad you are on as that device.
For example, if this is the first iPad you have linked up to your system, select EPOS 1.
Alternatively, if you have already assigned iPads to the listed devices and the iPad you are using is going to be an additional EPOS device, click the Add new device button.
Note: You will only be able to add a new device if you are in your free trial. One you are signed up you will need to add any new devices on the back office.
Give your new device a name that you will recognise it by. This will show on reports to identify sales and payments that were put through on this iPad. Then press Done.
A green confirmation message will display to say your Device was successfully created. Press the green OK button.
Your new iPad is now configured. You can now log into the EPOS by entering the PIN that you will have received on your sign up email.
Repeat the above steps for any iPad that you will be using as an EPOS, kitchen screen, or table side ordering unit.
If you are ready to start using your EPOS in your venue, you may now want to assemble your secure case or connect your printers and cash drawers.
