PAR level orders

You can set PAR levels against each or your products so that your system can automatically populate your supplier orders to re-stock up to your PAR levels - the quantities you would like to have in stock to see you through from one order to the next.


This is an alternative to suggested orders, where the system will use your recent sales to populate your order quantities.


To place PAR level orders you will first need to enable PAR level ordering. This will open up a new field on the stock tab of each product so that you can set your PAR levels. 



Note: If you have a central server you will see the PAR level field on the site management tab so you can set it appropriately for each venue.


When you have enabled PAR level ordering and set your PAR levels you will see a new order to PAR level button when placing orders with your suppliers. Pressing this button will populate the order with the required quantities to bring your stock up to the PAR level you have set for each product.



When PAR level ordering is enabled, you will also see two additional columns on your low stock notification email:

  • your PAR level for the product
  • the required order to bring your stock levels for the product back to your par level
