Configuring booking alerts on the EPOS

You can configure alerts on your EPOS for new booking requests, new confirmed bookings and/or cancellations. This can be useful if you want to review and accept booking requests on the day, to keep your front of house team informed of any new bookings, and to make use of tables freed up from any cancellations.


To configure booking alerts on your EPOS, go into your back office & select Setup > Bookings.



On the Bookings tab of the Setup module click Other settings.


Toggle Show booking notifications on EPOS to on.


Further fields will display to give you more control over your alerts.


In the Max hours ahead field, you can choose the number of hours ahead you would like to receive alerts for.


In the Notifications type field, you can select any combination of notifications by ticking the box next to each type of notification.


Note: By default, all notifications types will be ticked



In the Show notifications on field, you can select which group of devices should receive the notification.



When you have configured your booking alert options, click the blue Save button in the bottom right of the screen.
