If you're selling alcohol or age-restricted products, you can record when you check ID or refuse service. This can be useful if you are audited or need to investigate an incident.
ID checks can be recorded on both the Mini EPOS and EPOS, and then viewed as a report in the back office.
To record an ID check on the Mini EPOS, click the More button, from the bottom navigation. You will be presented with the following reasons for recording an ID check:
- ID ok
- ID fail
- Drink refused
At the Record drink refused prompt, click the orange Ok button.
The action will be recorded. You can then clear the product or order and continue using the Mini EPOS as usual.
