In order to link your EPOS to Deputy, two bits of data are required from your deputy account. A Deputy instance ID and a permanent OAuth token.
The Deputy instance ID can be obtains from the user address bar when you are logged into Deputy
In the above example the Deputy instance ID is 30de6d11082113
For the OAuth token you will need to follow these steps:
- Login to Deputy
- Go to your account
- Change the URL path and suffix /exec/devapp/oauth_clients ... eg https://{your subdomain}.deputy.com/exec/devapp/oa...
- Choose "New OAuth Client"
- Enter the Name: Tabology
- Descriptions and Logo URL can be left blank
- Enter the Redirect Uri: http://localhost
- Press "Save This OAuth Client"
- The Client Id should now be shown in the table like the example below:
- Now go into the Tabology OAuth Client that you just created and you will get a screen like this:
- Now press get an Access Token. (this is at the top of the screen)
- You will see a message like this:
- Please email to support@tabology.com providing us information on:
Your Venue name
Your Deputy Instance ID you would of acquired at the start of this guide
The access token acquired from step 12 of the guide
(Optional) If you have any sales you have done on Bartab before integrating with Deputy and you want them to show on Deputy. Please provide us the date that you want the first day of sales that shows on Deputy
