You can set up the default number of covers that will be set for a new tab opened on the EPOS, from the summary screen. You can override this figure on the new tab screen when opening a tab.
Note: Default covers will only be used when a new tab is opened using the 'New tab" button on the summary screen, or when a tab is opened for a table that doesn't have max covers set. Where a tab is opened on a table with max covers set, the covers will default to the max covers available on that table.
To set default covers select 'Set up', then 'EPOS', from the left hand nav of your back office.
Then click the 'Other settings' tab and edit the 'Default covers' field to the value you would like to use.
Tabs opened, that are not linked to a table, will default to the default covers set.
If you want to accurately manage covers for all tabs, you may want to enable always prompt for covers.
