If you have a promotion that is linked to members, you can choose to limit the number of times a member can redeem that promotion. For example, you could offer all members £5 off their first order, or 20% off their first 5 orders.
To set a limit on a promotion, go into your promotions setup from the left hand navigation bar.
Select the promotion you need to assign members to.
Click on the 'Assign Members' tab at the top of the screen.
You will see a tick box to 'Enable redemption limits on this promotion'. (If you don't see this, ensure 'only members can redeem this promotion' is ticked).
Note: A percentage discount promotion counts as one redemption per order, even if it applies to multiple products in the order. Therefore if you want to limit the number of specific product purchases a member can receive a discount on, you will need to tick 'use once per transaction' on the main promotion details screen.
'Tick' the box to open up the field, to specify the limit you would like to apply.
In the below example the promotion will trigger a maximum of 5 times for each member.
When you are ready, press 'sync changes' to sync to your EPOS.
You can also check to see how many times a promotion has been redeemed by a member group or member.
