Temporary EPOS devices are devices that you only require for a shorter period of time. For example, over the busy Christmas period, you might benefit from an extra EPOS so you can process more orders than usual.
Activating a Temporary EPOS device incurs a one-off fee of £20, and it will automatically expire after 2 weeks.
Adding a Temporary EPOS device
To add an EPOS device, go into your back office and select My subscription from the left hand navigation.
From your subscription plan, scroll down, then click on the Temporary EPOS devices tab.
Click the Add a new temporary EPOS device button.
Your new device will appear in the last row. In the Device name column, give your new Temporary EPOS device a name. If you have device groups set up, select a device group for it.
Then click the blue tick icon to confirm your additional device.
You will be prompted to confirm the addition of the new Temporary EPOS device and accept the one-off fee.
Click the blue Add additional device button.
Your Temporary EPOS total fee will update to reflect the change and the One-off fee will be added to your subscription separate from your Total monthly fee.
Removing a temporary EPOS devices
The Temporary EPOS device will be automatically removed from your subscription after the two-week expiry, so you don't need to do worry about cancelling it.
If you do want to remove a temporary EPOS device from your plan before it automatically expires, click the red bin icon at the end of required device row.
Click the blue Yes button, to confirm.
Your temporary EPOS device will be removed. Your Plan breakdown will update and the change will be reflected in your next invoice.
