Connecting your EPOS to your Zettle reader

Before connecting your EPOS to a Zettle card reader you will need to configure Zettle as your payment provider on the back office.

Once Zettle is configured go to the admin screen on your EPOS iPad and press Card setup.

At the oauth.zettle.com prompt, click Continue.

Log in to your Zettle account with your Zettle email and password.

Note: This needs to be the same email you configured on the back office.

The Zettle settings modal will display. Click Card readers.

Then select the version of card reader you are using. Make sure your reader is turned on so it appears under the relevant reader version.

Then select your reader from the list of detected card readers. You will see the number in the list displayed on each Zettle card reader screen so you know which reader you are selecting to use with that EPOS iPad.

A code will then be displayed on the EPOS iPad and on the selected card reader. Make sure the code matches, then press the green button on your card reader.

You will then see the card reader under "Connected card readers".

Your EPOS iPad is then ready to take card payments via Zettle. Just select card as the payment type on the pay screen, and the amount will be sent to your Zettle card reader automatically.
