To connect your EPOS to Zettle you will first need to configure Zettle as your chosen processor on the back office and then connect to a Zettle reader on each EPOS iPad.
Configuring Zettle on the back office
First go into the Back office and select Setup > EPOS from the left-hand navigation, then select Payment integration tab.
Click the blue Setup payment processor button. The payment processor modal will display.
Select Zettle by PayPal from the dropdown and then enter the email address you use to access your Zettle account in the Zettle email address field.
When using Zettle by PayPal, as your payment processor, you can use a Tabology Reader instead of a separate card reader for taking payments. Toggle Use Tabology reader to Yes, to enable this setting.
You can also select whether you would like the card reader to prompt a customer for a tip prior to taking payment.
When you have entered all details into the required fields, click the blue Done button.
You can now:
- Connect your EPOS iPads to a Zettle by PayPal card reader
- Add any Tabology Readers you will be using
Note: An EPOS device can be connected to both a Tabology Reader and a Zettle by PayPal reader, which can be useful as a fallback for customers presented cards that do not support contactless.
