By default, any service charge you set will apply to orders added to tabs. If you would like to apply a service charge to all orders including those that are paid for up front, you can enable this on your back office.
To enable service charge to apply to all orders, go into your back office & select Setup > EPOS from the left hand navigation.
Click the Other settings tab.
Scroll down to, Apply service charge to.
From the dropdown options, select All orders.
Enter the service charge as a percentage.
Using the grey toggle, select whether the service charge should be applied automatically or manually (via a button on the pay screen). See Applying a service charge to an instant pay order to see how each option works on the EPOS.
Click the blue Save button, in the bottom right of the screen.
