When you have set a service charge to apply to all orders, orders that are not added to a tab will still have a service charge applied (or button to add a service charge if it is set to manual).
If you have set an automatic service charge to apply to all orders, go onto your EPOS & process an order as usual.
Click the green Pay button on the right hand side.
Underneath the last item added to the order, a Service charge line will display.
The service charge line will show you:
- The percentage of the service charge applied
- The total value of the service charge
The total value of the order will update in the top right corner of the EPOS.
If you have set a manual service charge to apply to all orders, in the pay screen click the grey Add Service Charge button.
The service charge will display as the last line in the order. The total value of the order will update to reflect the service charge addition.
Process the transaction as required using the payment methods provided.
If you need to remove the service charge from the order, you can do so by clicking on the Service charge line.
A pop-up will display for you to confirm whether you are sure you want to remove the service charge.
Click OK.
When the service charge is removed, the service charge line will disappear & the total value of the order will update to reflect this.
You will still have the option to add the service charge on again if you need tob y pressing the Add service charge button, underneath the last item.
