When processing discounts, voids & refunds through the EPOS, if you have users who don't have permissions to perform these actions, a Manager PIN can be used as an override to authorise the action without logging the current user out of the EPOS.
Note: Manager PIN override, will only work with a user access level of manager & a pin code setup.
Manager PIN override on a tab
Open the tab & click the item action (void, refund, or discount) as usual.
The Manager PIN override box will display. Click the user & enter the PIN when prompted.
The item action will be performed & the tab will update to reflect any changes.
Manager PIN override on an order
Process an order as usual & click Pay as normal. In the Pay screen, click the blue Discount button. Discounts that are locked to manager access, will indicated with a Staff lock icon next to the discount name.
Click the required discount & the Manager PIN override box will display. Click the user & enter the PIN when prompted.
The discount will be performed & the order will update to reflect the discount.
