If you have taken a card pre-authorisation when a guest made a booking with you, you will be able to charge a no show fee in the event that they don't attend their booking, or cancel last minute (based on the terms of your cancellation policy).
To charge a no show fee for a booking, go into your back office & click Bookings > Bookings, from the left hand navigation.
From the Bookings list, locate the booking required to charge for a pre-authorisation. Click on the booking.
From the Edit booking screen, scroll down to the Pre-auths section.
Click the green Charge pre-auth button.
The Charge pre-auth modal will popup, displaying information related to the card pre-authorisation:
- Amount
- Charge reason (The reason can be edited)
- Card details provided
Click the green Charge customer button.
The pre-authorisation wil charge successfully & the status of the charge will update in the Pre-auth's section.
Note: Once a pre-authorisation has been charged, this cannot be cancelled.
