Compare & filter venue groups from the management report

If you have set up venue groups, you can compare & filter all of the data in your central management reports according to the groups venues are in.

For example, if you use venue groups for brands and regions, you could see figures for all of your brand A venues in the North region.

You can determine the figures you want to include on your report through the Filters & grouping options.

Grouping

With the Group by options, you can quickly see total figures for each of your Venues, or Venue groups and compare these side by side.

By default the report is grouped by Venue, which is the same as you would see prior to setting up venue groups

When grouped by Venue group you can use the Select venue groups checkboxes to specify which venue groups to include in your report.

Filtering

When grouped by Venues, you have the option to filter by which venue groups a venue belongs to. You can do this by ticking Venue groups in the filtering section.

You can then switch between two types of filtering:

  • Any - Will include figures for venues that are in any of the specified venue groups
    • e.g. any venue that is brand A or brand B
  • All - Will only include figures for a venue if it is in all selected venue groups
    • e.g. and brand A venues that are also in the North region

With either filtering option, you can select the venue groups for your filtering criteria by using the Select venue group checkboxes, or the Select all groups and Deselect all groups buttons.

The Venue grouping and filtering options you have selected will apply to all sections of the management reports.
