To create a single-use beer card go to the summary screen on your EPOS.
Press the New Tab button and you will be met with the below screen. (If you always create single-use cards this screen can be set to pop up whenever a new card is placed on the reader, skipping to the below step. Email support@tabology.com to request for this to be set up).
Whilst on this screen, place a new card onto the associated card reader. You will see that the 'linked to card?' switch is turned on as shown below.
Add a name for the Tab. This could be the customers name, a table name, or just a number that you allocate to that card.
As you are creating a prepay beer card, turn the prepay switch to the on position.
You will see an amount box where you can add credit to the tab through either cash or card, depending on how the customer wants to pay (you will be able to do this after the card is created also).
If the card is to be shared by a group, enter the number of people in the group in the covers field. This will determine the amount of beer that can be dispense before a consumption alert is triggered.
When you have finished press OK and you will see confirmation that a tab has been created and any balance that has been credited to it.
Press OK and you will be taken to the summary screen where you can see your tab listed on the lefthand side.
This is where you can see details of any amounts dispensed using the card, as well as add or refund credit to a card.
