Creating a prepay member RFID card

Prepay members can top up their RFID card with a balance that they can spend in the venue, including on any self-service beer taps.

To create a prepay member RFID card go to the summary screen on your EPOS and press the 'MEMBER' Button

Place a new member card on the card reader associated with that iPad. 

Note: If you want to create a member without linking a card you can press the 'CREATE MEMBER' button.

You will be presented with a form where you can enter any details you want to capture from the customer and add an amount of credit you want the card to start with.

Note: If your card machines are integrated and you want to add credit via card, you will need to create the member first and then add credit.

Once you have added any details you want to store, press ACTIVATE.

When you have entered the details, press activate and you will see a message to say the card has been activated along with any balance on the card. 

You will also be able to assign any custom field values and group memberships for this member.

Press OK and you will see a tab open on the summary screen for the member you created. It is distinguishable from other single-use tabs by the person symbol on the left hand side.

Here you can see any beer that has items the member has purchases, including any beer dispensed by the card.

From this screen you can also add credit or refund the balance on a card.

Unlike with single-use beer cards or normal tabs, you can close a member tab with a balance outstanding. The balance is saved and will be applied to the next tab opened for that member.
