Enabling and disabling RFID readers

This article will focus on enabling and disabling RFID readers on your EPOS. If you instead want to enable or disable taps, see Enabling and disabling taps.

Disabling an RFID reader at a table will prevent any customers from activating the table, either for dispensing from self service taps, or for ordering from an iPad menu.

Disabling RFID Readers

To disable an RFID reader to the Admin screen of the EPOS. 

Press the Disable button that is under RFID Override.

You’ll see a tab pop up with a list of tables where you can turn off specific RFID readers. Select a table or if you want to do all of them, select the All option.

After pressing on the table, you will see a message informing you that the RFID reader will now be disabled, though there can be a delay of up to a minute for this to take affect..

Enabling RFID Readers

To enable an RFID reader press the Enable button under RFID Override.
