Once you have activated mobile ordering and configured table service, your customers will be able to place orders using their mobile phones that will be sent straight to your BarTab EPOS.
The quickest and easiest way for customers to place an order is to scan a unique QR code, which links to your menus and provides the table number for where the customer is sitting (customers can also use your mobile ordering URL to place orders, but will need to select their table when placing the order).
Scanning a QR code, involves holding a smartphone camera over the code. We recommend having a simple call to action near to the QR code to make this clear to customers.
Once a customer has scanned the QR code they will be taken to your menu.
Clicking on a menu item will take the customer to a details screen where they can select a quantity and measure or any modifies if applicable.
Once any products have been added to the basket, a button will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen to take the customer through to place their order.
On the place order screen, the customer can review the items in their order and go through to payment. The table number will be pre-set based on the QR code that the customer scanned, but this can be changed here if the customer has moved tables.
On the pay screen the customer can pay for their order either via Apple Pay, Google Pay or by entering their card details.
Once an order has been place, you will receive a ticket for the order on your Bar orders screen and any configured printers.
