A printer's IP address allows you to identify it so you can select it for a specific purpose on your EPOS (a receipt printer, or a printer for food or drink orders.)
First, ensure the printer is turned off.
Then flick the power switch ON whilst simultaneously holding down the ‘FEED’ button until the printer prints out the first piece of information.
Then, let go of the ‘FEED’ button and the rest of the information will print out.
The second print out will show the IP address of the printer under ‘Current IP Parameters Status’.
Now you have the printers IP address you can connect to it from the EPOS as either a receipt printer, food order printer, or drink order printer. To do this, visit one of the following guides below:
- The main receipt printer for that BarTab iPad
- A printer for automatic printing of food tickets
- A printer for automatic printing of drink tickets
