This article shows you how to link a purchase to a member by scanning a member QR code on the pay screen. You can also scan a member QR code when adding items to a tab.

Linking a purchase to a loyalty member will:
- Enable you to apply any promotions the member is eligible for
- Track the purchase against that member for reporting purposes
- Enable you to apply any credit a member has on their account
To link a purchase to a member by scanning a QR code, press the camera icon on the PAY screen (if you don't see a camera icon make sure you have enabled QR code scanning).
Then scan the member's QR code.
Note: To use the reverse camera on the iPad, click the reverse camera icon, in the top right of the QR code scan screen.
You will be presented with the below screen where you can apply any promotions the member is eligible for.
After applying the promotions you can pay the remaining balance as usual.
