You can enable auto-confirm bookings if you would like any booking requests to be automatically confirmed and allocated to the best available table with no manual approval needed.
With auto-confirmed bookings enabled, customers making a booking via your website will see immediate confirmation of their booking.
Note: If include joining tables is enabled and only joined tables can accommodate the booking, the booking will come through as a request for you to approve, once you are happy you can accommodate it.
To enable Auto-confirm bookings, go into your back office & select Setup > Bookings from the left hand navigation.
The booking widget screen will display.
Scroll down to the Availability settings section & locate Auto-confirm bookings.
Toggle Auto-confirm bookings to on.
Note: Auto-confirm bookings relies on checking table availability, so real-time availability checking will be automatically enabled when auto-confirm bookings is enabled. You will also need to ensure that max covers is set correctly on all of your tables.
When auto-confirm bookings is enabled this will open up the auto confirm minimum notice period (mins) field, which enables you to specify the minimum notice you require for bookings to be auto-confirmed. Bookings with less notice than set here, will still come through as booking requests.
When you have completed your Auto-confirm bookings set up, scroll down to the bottom the page & click the blue Save Booking widget configuration button in the bottom right corner.
